BELIZEAN ARTS

Vasquez is a self taught artist. His style is abstract and impressionistic using a palette knife to blend colours together on canvas.  He was born in San Pedro Town, Belize and attended the San Pedro Roman Catholic Primary School.  The teachers would always catch him sketching on a piece of paper during class and not showing much interest in studies however that turned out in his favour as he has become a very successful artist. His seascapes depict life on the cayes with his more recent abstract fish series constantly evolving in colour palette.
