MICHAEL USHER

Painter

Michael Usher was born in Belize City. His early years were spent creating sculptures of natives animals from wood and cow horn. His craft was passed down from generation to generation. His grandfather being the famous wood sculptor George Gabb.

Michael Usher is now living on Ambergris Caye and spends his time either painting on canvas or crafting sculptors from cow horn. His studio is open to the public and is located just down the road from the Truck Stop. When he is not painting he enjoys spending time in nature fishing and cycling.
